Step-by-step setup
Search the Roku Channel Store
Press Home, go to Streaming Channels or the search field, and look for IPTV Smarters Player or IPTV Player. Add the channel if it appears; availability varies by region and changes without notice.
Log in with Xtream Codes
Open the channel, choose the Xtream Codes option, and enter your Tivo8k username, password and server address as usual.
Alternative: mirror from a phone or PC
Enable Screen mirroring under Roku Settings, System. On Android use Cast or Smart View; on Windows press Win+K. Play the stream in a player on that device and it appears on the Roku. It works, but it ties up the phone.
Best option: add a Firestick
Honestly, if IPTV is the main use for that television, a Fire TV Stick at $30 to $50 removes every one of these limitations at once. Plug it into a spare HDMI port and leave the Roku for the apps it does well.

IPTV channels disappear from the Roku store
Roku periodically removes these listings, which is why we cannot promise any particular one will be there when you look. If yours vanishes, the account is unaffected; use mirroring, or move that television to a stick.

Can you get IPTV on Roku?
Partly. There is no sideloading, and the available players come and go from the store, so it is the least dependable platform for this. Mirroring always works as a fallback. If you have the choice, put a Firestick or an Android box on that television instead.
